Wild Moor Running - Myth and Heritage

Myth and Heritage is a guided group trail running event located in the North York Moors. The route begins and ends at the Thornton Dale Car Park in the village of Thornton-le-Dale, North Yorkshire. This event serves as an introduction to the local moorland and woodland scenery, featuring a course that crosses woodland streams and passes through small hamlets.

The run is conducted in a small group format with a maximum of six participants per group. The event is led by a guide and operates at a social pace, allowing for stops to view the landscape and local history along the way. The terrain includes a mix of woodland trails and the unique landscape of the open moors.

The activity concludes with an optional group social gathering involving local food and drinks. Participation is limited to individuals aged 18 years or older on the day of the event.
