The Hardmoors 200

The Hardmoors 200 is a single-stage ultramarathon covering a distance of 200 miles. The route begins in Kingston upon Hull, traveling alongside the River Humber on the Transpennine Trail to reach the start of the Wolds Way National Trail at Hessle.

Participants follow the Yorkshire Wolds Way for 79 miles, traversing wooded slopes, hills, and valleys. This section concludes at the headland of Filey Brigg, which marks the beginning of the Cleveland Way National Trail. The course then continues for 112 miles along the Cleveland Heritage coastline, passing through Scarborough, Robin Hood’s Bay, Whitby, Staithes, Runswick Bay, and Saltburn. The final stages lead through the Cleveland Hills and the North York Moors, with the race finish located in the market town of Helmsley.

The event has a total time limit of 60 hours. Intermediate cut-offs are enforced, requiring runners to complete the first 88 miles within 24 hours and the subsequent 112 miles of the Cleveland Way within 36 hours.

Registration is open to individuals aged 21 or older. Participation is available in the following categories:
