North York Moors
This trail running event takes place in Ravenscar on 24 October 2026. All courses are located wholly within the North York Moors National Park and use sections of the Cleveland Way. Terrain is described as moderate, mainly moorland and grassland.
Distances offered include:
- 10K - 8.0 mi; ascent 863 ft
- Half Marathon - 15 mi; ascent 1,982 ft
- Marathon - 26.5 mi; ascent 3,209 ft
- Ultra - 34.3 mi; ascent 4,051 ft
The routes pass landscape features such as dry stone walls, disused railway lines and moorland sheep flocks. Whitby Abbey is located a few miles away. The event is part of the Endurancelife 2026–27 trail running season and contributes points to the Season Leaderboard for finishing participants.
Administrative and participant details include an online check-in about two weeks before the event, with a requirement to confirm emergency contact details and view a mandatory safety video. Parking permits must be purchased online before the event; short stays under an hour are free. Standard entry prices listed range from £35 to £71 depending on distance.
