Course, logistics, and entry policies

The course has rapid elevation loss and gain and includes natural trail hazards such as rocks, roots, snow, ice, crawling over logs, stream crossings, oversized chickens, and other wild creatures. The organizer notes the course is not designed for personal-record attempts. Packet pickup is provided, and there is an early start option; participants who use the early start are not eligible for awards.

Registration opens on February 7, 2026. The organizer offers withdrawal refunds processed through the event registration system; refunds exclude the registration platform administration fee. Refunds follow these rules: full refund within 10 days of registration, 50% refund before April 1, 2026, and no refund after April 1, 2026.
