Muddy Sneaker 20K Trail Run
The Muddy Sneaker is a trail race held in the Hi Tor Wildlife Management Area in the Finger Lakes region of New York State, near Naples and southeast of Canandaigua Lake. Established in 2000, the event is listed as a twelve-plus mile course and is also shown as a 20K distance.
The course features rapid elevation loss and gain for the region and includes technical terrain and natural obstacles. Participants may encounter rocks, roots, snow, ice, log crawls, stream crossings, oversized chickens and other wild creatures. Organizers state this is not a personal-record course.
Field size and entry rules are specified by the organizer; the event will register 200 runners and there will be no waitlist. Packet pickup is provided and an early start option is available; early-start participants are not eligible for awards.
Withdrawal and refund rules are handled through the event registration system. Refunds apply only to the race entrance fee and not to the administration fee. Refund amounts are: 100% within 10 days of registration, 50% before April 1, 2026, and no refund after April 1, 2026. Refunds are processed upon cancellation through the UltraSignup dashboard.
