Many On The Genny

Many On The Genny is a trail ultra scheduled for June 20, 2026 in Letchworth State Park. The event covers about 45 miles and uses trails on both sides of the Genesee River gorge. Approximately 90% of the course is off road and includes single track, fields, foot bridges and bridle paths. The route passes scenic viewpoints and features sustained climbs.

The race follows an old school ultra format that expects runners to be largely self sufficient. There are five fully stocked aid stations and two water stops distributed across the 40 plus mile course. Some remote sections may require traveling up to eight miles between aid points. Each aid station has a time cutoff.

The field is limited to 150 runners and a wait list operates on a first come first served basis. The event is directed by organizers from TrailsRoc with a history of directing trail events since 2012, and it is presented by Rochester Running Company. The course highlights the gorge area of Letchworth State Park, which is often called the "Grand Canyon of the East" and was named Americas best State Park in 2015 by USA Today and 10best.com.
