Mendon Mauler Trail Run

The Mendon Mauler Trail Run takes place at Mendon Ponds Park on June 12, 2026, with options for a 4 mile loop or an 8 mile effort that uses two loops of the same course. The loop follows the North Meadow and East Esker trails and is routed mostly off road, with two road crossings and a finish beside Stewart Lodge.

Each 4 mile loop has an elevation gain of about 350 ft. The course will be marked with pink surveying flags and yellow arrow signs. Trail shoes are recommended; cross spikes are not suggested. The event is cup free and there is no hydration provided on course, so participants must carry their own fluids and any nutrition. If runners expect to be on course after dark, a headlamp is recommended.

Registration is handled online and packet pickup is available the day of the event at Stewart Lodge; there is no on site registration. Registration includes event timing and scoring, online results, a premium blend cotton t shirt for those registered by May 24, 2025 with an optional upgrade to a technical short sleeve top for an additional fee, a post race cookout and drink, and other event swag. Awards are offered for the 8 mile race only, including top male and female overall and 10 year age group winners; there are no awards for the 4 mile race.
