Mendon Mauler Trail Run : Mendon Ponds Park

The Mendon Mauler Trail Run is scheduled for June 12, 2026 at Stewart Lodge in Mendon Ponds Park, Mendon NY. The event offers two distance options on a mostly off‑road course that uses the North Meadow (Dark Blue) and East Esker (Dark Green) trails.

  • 4 Mile loop on marked park trails.
  • 8 Mile two laps of the 4-mile loop, finishing at Stewart Lodge.

Each 4-mile loop has an elevation gain of about 350 ft. The course is marked with pink surveying flags and yellow arrow signs and includes two road crossings; runners should exercise caution at road crossings. Trail shoes are recommended; cross country spikes are not suggested.

There are no formal hydration stations on the 4-mile loop. Participants are required to carry their own fluids and a reusable cup since the event is cup free. 8-mile participants may have access to water at the end of the first loop. Headlamps are recommended if a runner expects to be on course after dark.

Race services include professional RFID timing, live online results, a premium blend cotton t-shirt for registrations meeting the organizer deadline (color subject to change), an optional technical short sleeve upgrade for a fee, a post-race cookout and drinks, and SWAG. Overall and age-group awards are offered for the 8-mile event; there are no awards for the 4-mile event.
