High Tor Trail Marathon

The event offers a trail half marathon and a marathon that begins and ends at Naples Community Park in Naples, NY. The marathon distance is completed by running the half marathon loop twice.

The route initially follows gentle terrain and briefly enters the High Tor Wildlife Management Area before running through downtown Naples. Runners proceed south on Main Street and then re-enter High Tor at the Digger aid station (Aid #1). From there the course follows the Finger Lakes Trail for a sustained climb and subsequent descent to the Bassett Road aid station (Aid #2). After Aid #2 runners face a second major climb toward the Brink Road aid station (Aid #3), followed by downhill sections leading back to the finish.

The event is organized by Ironwood Adventure Works and features multiple aid stations positioned along the course. Registration closes on Thu, Jul 9 at 5:00 PM ET. The format is described as community driven and includes provisions for spectators at or near the park and downtown sections.
