High Tor Trail Marathon

The High Tor Trail Marathon is a trail running event in Naples, NY that begins and ends at Naples Community Park. The course briefly follows gentle terrain before entering the High-Tor Wildlife Management Area and then passes through downtown Naples and Main Street.

Runners re-enter High Tor at the Digger aid station (Aid 1) and follow the Finger Lakes Trail for a long climb and descent to the Bassett Road aid station (Aid 2). From Aid 2 the route includes a second significant climb up toward the Brink Road aid station (Aid 3), followed by downhill sections back to the finish. The event offers generous aid stations and is organized by the local community, with provisions for runners and spectating families.

The event is offered as a single half marathon loop with an option to complete a marathon distance by running two loops. Registration closes on Thu, Jul 9 at 5:00 PM ET.

Trail runs in Naples NY with a rugged 25K single loop around the Cumming Nature Center and Honeoye Inlet Wildlife Management Area and a more runnable 10K. Proceeds support environmental education at the RMSC Cumming Nature Center.

Trail races at Mendon Ponds Park on a 4 mile loop with an 8 mile two loop option. The course is off road with about 350 ft of elevation gain per loop and requires runners to carry their own fluids.
