High Tor Trail Marathon

The High Tor Trail Marathon is a community organized trail running event in Naples, NY, beginning and ending at Naples Community Park. It is offered as a half marathon loop, with an option to run a marathon by completing two loops.

The route briefly enters the High-Tor Wildlife Management Area and runs through downtown Naples, including a stretch along Main Street. Runners re-enter High Tor at the Digger aid station (Aid 1) and follow the Finger Lakes Trail for a long climb and descent to the Bassett Road aid station (Aid 2). From Aid 2 the course includes a second climb toward the Brink Road aid station (Aid 3), followed by downhill sections that lead back to the finish.

The half marathon loop includes varied terrain described as a warm-up section, uphill segments, and downhill stretches. The event provides multiple aid stations along the course and is presented as community driven, with provisions for spectators and families near the park and downtown areas.

Registration for the event closes on Thu, Jul 9 at 5:00 PM ET. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
