Nuclear Mud Sisters

Nuclear Mud Sisters is a women-only obstacle course event located in Brentwood, Essex. The event emphasizes female strength and teamwork through a non-competitive format focused on connection rather than timing. Participants can expect a course featuring mud, foam, and a variety of obstacles that do not require specific upper-body strength.

The event offers the following distances:

  • 5 km (for participants aged 7 and older)
  • 1.5 km (option for younger runners)

The course includes water obstacles, though there is no full water submersion. Because there is no chip timing, participants are able to complete the course at their own pace. Registration is open to various fitness levels and no prior obstacle racing experience is required. Children between the ages of 7 and 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

The event village provides a lively atmosphere with music and face painting. Practical facilities for participants include a bag drop, changing rooms, and free hot wash-downs available at the end of the course. Each participant receives a finisher medal and a free finisher photo. The site is located 15 minutes from Brentwood station and Epping Underground station. Well-behaved dogs on leads are permitted at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
