Mud Tribe

Mud Tribe is a muddy obstacle-course event held at Great Myles, Kelvedon Hatch near Brentwood, Essex with an event village at the Secret Nuclear Bunker. The event offers two approachable course options and is presented as inclusive for a range of ages and fitness levels.

Participants navigate a course that features mud, foam and a variety of obstacles designed to be achievable without upper-body strength. There are water obstacles but no full water submersion. Races are untimed so participants can go at their own pace. Facilities at the finish include hot wash-downs, changing rooms, a bag drop, a finisher medal and a free finisher photo; additional photos are available to purchase.

A female-only Mud Tribe Sisters wave is offered alongside the main entries. The event supports charity fundraising and is promoted as suitable for groups, families and first-time obstacle runners. Under-15s must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Next scheduled event date on the page is 5 September 2026.
