The Mt Beauty Running Festival is scheduled for Saturday 16 May 2026 at the Mount Beauty Secondary College oval on Pool Road, Mt Beauty, Victoria. The event is presented as a family-oriented day and highlights the autumn colours of the Upper Kiewa Valley. The festival is community run and relies on volunteers to support event operations.

A Schools Challenge offers a $250 cash prize for the winning school. Teams may include students and staff with entrants in any of the four events. Points are awarded to the top five overall finishers in each team and the team with the lowest average points wins. Schools must enter their school name as the team when registering.

Food will be available on site; Mt Beauty Playgroup will run a bake sale and BBQ and proceeds will support the playgroup. The event has a plastic cup free policy at on-course drink stations, so participants need to carry their own drink bottle or hydration pack.
