Course, kit and other information
The route runs across open moorland and includes a couple of stiff climbs, muddy sections and a final descent to the finish. The course will be marshalled and marked, but participants should be competent navigators. Mandatory kit requirements include full body cover and a headtorch; a kit check will be carried out. Additional required items listed include a map, compass and whistle. No drinks will be available at the finish line; refreshments are available in the pub. Dogs are not permitted.
