Mountaineer Rumble 10 Mile, 50K, 100K, 100 Mile
The Mountaineer Rumble takes place at Kings Mountain State Park in Clover, South Carolina on November 7, 2026. The event uses a roughly ten mile loop that follows the CCC Multi-Use Trail (Orange Blaze). Each loop yields about 650 feet of elevation gain.

Runners in the 50K complete three loops plus a half mile out-and-back at the start. 100K entrants run six loops plus a one mile out-and-back at the start. 100 Mile entrants run ten loops. Each loop includes two fully stocked aid stations. An indoor aid station is available at the start and finish area with space for drop bags, and a canopy area near the start and finish is provided for crew. Crew access is limited to the start and finish area.
Time limits are specified for each distance: ten hours for the 50K, twenty hours for the 100K, and thirty-two hours for the 100 Mile. All finishers receive awards; 100 Mile finishers receive a custom designed buckle. Since 2022, runners who complete all three long distances receive a special custom handmade display award. Cabin lodging is available to 50K, 100K, and 100 Mile runners for race weekend and in select cases after the 100 Mile. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
