Mountaineer Rumble at Kings Mountain State Park
The Mountaineer Rumble offers multiple trail race distances at Kings Mountain State Park in Clover, SC. The course is a ten mile loop that follows the CCC Multi-Use Trail (Orange Blaze). Each loop has about 650 +/- feet of elevation gain.

Race format uses repeated loops: 50K runners complete three loops plus a half mile out-and-back at the start, 100K runners complete six loops plus a mile out-and-back, and 100 Mile runners complete ten loops. Each loop includes two fully stocked aid stations. An indoor aid station at the start and finish provides drop bag storage, and a canopy area around the start and finish allows crew setup. Crew access is limited to the start and finish area.
Time limits are specified for each distance: 50K has a 10 hour limit, 100K a 20 hour limit, and the 100 Mile event a 32 hour limit. All finishers receive awards; 50K and 100K receive distance-specific awards and 100 Mile finishers receive a custom buckle. Since 2022, runners who complete all three longer distances receive a special handmade display award. Cabins are available for runners on Friday and Saturday nights with additional post-race options for 100 Mile finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
