Mountaineer Rumble 10 Mile, 50K, 100K, 100 Miler

The event is held at Kings Mountain State Park in Clover, SC and uses a ten mile loop that highlights the CCC Multi-Use Trail (Orange Blaze). Each loop has about 650 feet of elevation gain.

Distances offered:

• 10 Mile
• 50K: three loops plus a half mile out-and-back
• 100K: six loops plus a one mile out-and-back
• 100 Mile: ten loops

Each loop includes two fully stocked aid stations. There is an indoor aid station at the start and finish with space to store drop bags, and a canopy area near the start and finish where crew may set up. Crew access is allowed only at the start and finish area.

Time limits are stated for each distance: 10 hours for the 50K, 20 hours for the 100K, and 32 hours for the 100 Mile. All finishers receive awards; 50K and 100K receive similar awards noted by distance, and 100 Mile finishers receive a custom designed buckle. Beginning in 2022, runners who complete all three distances receive a special handmade display award for medals and buckle; any order of completion is accepted.

Cabin lodging is available to 50K, 100K, and 100 Mile runners for race weekend. The weekend schedule includes packet pickup and cabin assignments, a pasta dinner, pre-race meeting, pre-race breakfast, bib pickup, and pre-race review and entertainment.
