Mountainaire Marathon
The Mountainaire Marathon is the third annual running event held in Mountainaire, Arizona, on November 8, 2026. Races take place on single track and forest roads in the Mountainaire area near Homestead Road.
Distances offered:
- 26.2 miles on single track and forest roads
- 13.1 miles on single track and forest roads
The event is free to enter; donations are encouraged to help cover aid station food and to support Adopt Oak Creek if costs are exceeded. Organizers plan to provide 2 to 4 aid stations with standard supplies and a post-race finish line party. Course markings will be limited, so participants are strongly advised to have the course GPX available offline. Course distances are approximate and may not measure exactly 13.1 or 26.2 miles. Official timing is not provided, though semi-official finish times may be recorded. Prizes will be awarded to the top three female and top three male finishers in each distance. Dogs are allowed at aid stations and the finish area if friendly and under control.
