The Mountain to Meadow Half Marathon & 10k takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Lolo Pass Visitor’s Center (Idaho side of Lolo Pass), elevation 5,233 ft. Events start and finish in the visitor center parking area at 44000 US-12, Lolo, MT. Registration opens March 31, 2026; listed entry fees are $75 for the half marathon and $50 for the 10k. Runners receive a Mountain to Meadow tank top, a finisher medal, chip timing, and a post-race BBQ with brats, salad (gluten free and vegetarian options), and a Big Sky Brewery beverage.

Courses, aid, and policies

Both courses follow gravel Forest Service roads and pass meadows and forest with views of the Bitterroot Mountains. The half marathon covers 13.1 miles with about 1,500 feet of climbing, with most climbing in the first half and a later descent through forested dirt road that joins the 10k near Packer Meadow. The 10k includes about 300 feet of climbing, follows Packer Meadow nordic ski trails for 2.8 miles, then 3.4 miles on gravel road. Aid stations stock water, electrolytes, and snacks: half marathon stations at 4.2, 7.2, and 10.8 miles; 10k aid at 2.8 miles. The race is cupless. Awards go to the top three male and female overall (gun time) and top male and female in each age group (chip time) with age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Parking at the visitor center is limited. Dogs are allowed on leash; owners must clean up after them. Volunteers receive a $15 Runner’s Edge gift card, the post-race BBQ, and a tank top.
