Pengelly Double Dip and Bob Hayes Single Dip

The Pengelly Double Dip is a mountain half marathon with about 3,400 feet of elevation gain. The course has three aid stations. This is a cupless event; participants may use a provided HydraPak Speed Cup at aid stations and the finish, or bring their own hydration device. The Pengelly field is capped; participants who miss the saddle cutoff will have their bib removed at the Saddle Aid station and may descend on foot or with aid station volunteers.

The Bob Hayes Single Dip gains over 500 feet in the first mile and has one aid station. It is a cupless event with the same cup option. The Bob Hayes course has no time limits and welcomes walkers.

Registration opens March 26, 2026. In-person registration closes April 23, 2026. Virtual registration closes June 8, 2026. Entry limits and fees apply. Trail races at Marshall Mountain in Missoula in May include team and solo 25K formats plus a 5 mile option. Courses use new looped trails and include notable climbing, with a post-race brunch and vendor village.

A community trail run on Mount Dean Stone paired with hands on bumble bee field training for the Montana Bumble Bee Atlas. Equipment is provided and youth must attend with an accompanying adult.

Mountain to Meadow on June 14, 2026 offers a Half Marathon and 10K from Lolo Pass Visitor's Center through meadows and forests with mountain views. The event includes aid stations, chip timing, a post race BBQ and awards.

The Blue Mountain 30K is a 30 kilometer trail race near Missoula, Montana. The 18.6 mile loop gains 3,600 feet and passes through ponderosa pine forest and flowering meadows, with the field capped at 200 entrants.
