Trail Running calendar near Missoula 2026-2027

A winter endurance challenge on Mt Sentinel offering 3 hour, 6 hour, 12 hour and 24 hour options where laps up the mountain raise funds for local air quality work. Proceeds support Climate Smart Missoula's local climate and air programs.

Run scenic singletrack at the Bitterroot Runoff Trail Runs on April 18, 2026 at Rossignol Ranch near Lolo, Montana with 5k, 5 mile and 10 mile options climbing up to 2,025 feet. Finish with postrace brunch, beer, massage and trail festival.

A short, steep Missoula trail race finishing on Mount Sentinel's summit, limited to 250 runners and timed with chips; includes a kids climb, age-group prizes, cash awards, and finish-line refreshments.

Join Run With The Wild on July 18 at scenic Seeley Creek Trails in Seeley Lake for community trail runs of 1K, 5K and 10K. Enjoy a free pancake breakfast for participants and celebrate with awards and prize drawings afterward.

A 10.6 mile point to point trail race through Lolo National Forest along the Clark Fork River, held October 4, 2026. Participants receive timing, a shirt and drop bag and are shuttled to Quinn's Hot Springs for post race food and a soak.
