ZooTown Challenge Obstacle Course Race - Missoula, MT
The ZooTown Challenge Obstacle Course Race takes place on September 26, 2026 at Washington Grizzly Stadium in Missoula, Montana. The event uses the stadium, the University of Montana campus, the M Trail, and other sections of the course. Multiple race categories are offered on the same day.
Event categories and distances include:
- Griz Double 10K: completes the course twice, about 35 obstacles.
- ZooTown 5K: about 20 obstacles.
- ZooTown 3K: approximately 3 kilometers, M Trail not included.
- Kids Race: for ages 5 to 12, held inside the stadium.
- All Abilities Race: for athletes with physical or intellectual limitations; racers may be paired with a buddy.
- Teams 5K: teams of four, final time is the combined time of all four racers.
Spectators are welcome and food trucks are available at the North End Zone. Volunteers receive food vouchers on race day and free entry to the following year’s event. Net proceeds from the race are donated to Opportunity Resources Inc., a Missoula organization that provides people with disabilities opportunities in employment, creative projects, housing, and community involvement.
