Blue Mountain Trail Races

The Blue Mountain event takes place in the Blue Mountain Recreation Area near Missoula, Montana. The race utilizes a combination of single and double track trails as it loops through various natural landscapes including ponderosa pine forests and meadows with seasonal flowers. Participants can view the Missoula and Bitterroot Valleys from different points along the route.

The event offers two distinct distances:

  • 30k (18.6 miles) with 3,600 feet of elevation gain
  • 10k trail race

Registration for the 30k distance is limited to 200 participants. The races begin and end at the Peak Health and Wellness Center located on Blue Mountain Road.
