MoRun Manchester : Heaton Park

MoRun Manchester is a series of chip-timed fun runs held at Heaton Park, with proceeds and fundraising supporting Movember. The event hub is located in The Bowl, below the Farm Centre, postcode M25 2SW.

The course mixes path and trail surfaces and is undulating. It is dog friendly and generally suitable for buggy running, though some sections can be bumpy or muddy. The route includes two road crossings and is not suitable for wheelchairs. The 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps, and the half marathon comprises four laps plus an additional 1.1k section.

Event services include full race chip timing with instant results, finisher medals, a finisher headband, water and snacks at the finish, and spot-prize bonus medals for categories such as best dressed. Placement is recorded by gun time; participants also receive a net time.

A 50 mile supported trail race from Manchester to Liverpool along the Trans-Pennine Trail with six checkpoints, mandatory kit, live GPS tracking and a 14 hour cut off. Entrants must be 20 or older and have completed a marathon.
