Run for Men's Health at Croxteth Park
MoRun Liverpool takes place at Croxteth Park, utilizing a course that consists of a mix of paths and trails. The route is flat but include sections that are bumpy or muddy. Participants can choose from several distance options:
- 1.5 km Mini MoRun (for children)
- 5 km (one lap)
- 10 km (two laps)
- Half Marathon (four laps plus a 1.1 km starting section)
The event is chip timed, providing runners with instant results upon crossing the finish line. Registration is located in the event hub, where participants collect their race number, timing chip, and a dedicated headband. Bag storage and toilets are available on-site, though space for bags is limited.
The event supports the Movember charity to raise awareness for men's health issues, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health. Participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress, and a competition is held prior to the start. All finishers receive a medal, and refreshments such as water and sweets are provided at the finish line. Special bonus medals are awarded for categories such as best dressed and fastest runners.
Parking is available near the park, specifically off Muirhead Avenue East and Oak Lane. The course is open to the public, so runners are advised to stay to the left unless guided otherwise. The 5 km and 10 km routes are suitable for buggy running and are dog-friendly. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
