Monk Strong Memorial Rugged Trail Run and Community Event
The fourth annual Monk Strong Memorial Rugged Trail Run & SO MUCH MORE! takes place on November 14, 2026 at Melody Mountain Ranch in Stephenville, Texas. The event combines trail running with community activities and on-site vendors.
Event distances and formats include:
- 10K timed and untimed
- 5K timed and untimed
- 1 Mile Fun Run untimed
After-race activities run through the afternoon and include live music, food trucks, a cornhole tournament, vendor tables, a beverage bar, jump houses, and a silent auction or raffle. Packet pick-up and walk-up registration are available on race day.
The memorial event honors a former Marine who later worked as a nurse and who was diagnosed with brain and spinal cancer in 2019 and died in 2023. Funds raised are intended to help serve people who serve others.
Registration fees follow multiple pricing tiers that increase as the event date approaches. Team pricing is offered for groups of five or more during advance registration periods; teams are not accepted on race day. Awards include top three male and female finishers by age divisions and finisher medals for all participants. Participants who register by the stated advance deadline are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
