Momentus BackYard Ultra
Momentus BackYard Ultra is a Backyard Ultra event held on June 4, 2027 at Williams Rushing Farm in Monroe, NC. The event follows the official Backyard Ultra format: runners complete a 4.167 mile loop each hour until only one runner remains. There is no predetermined distance or fixed finish.
The course uses a mix of trail, grass, gravel, roots, and private farm roads. Each loop has about 100 feet of elevation gain and rolling terrain. Race operations include a spacious runner basecamp with dedicated crew areas, spectator viewing, food vendors, and live entertainment during the weekend.
Registration notes list early entry pricing at $135 for the first 50 runners, then $155 thereafter; platform registration fees are not included. Registration closes on Fri, Jun 4 at 5:00 PM ET.
Support and logistics details: a centrally located aid station will provide water, electrolytes, coffee, and basic snacks, though runners are expected to be largely self supported. Personal crew support is allowed only between loops in the designated basecamp. Each runner may have one approved on site vehicle that fits a standard parking space; oversized vehicles and trailers are restricted in the primary parking area. Camping is allowed in the runner village from arrival on race day until the final runner finishes. Spectators are welcome. Leashed dogs are permitted in basecamp but not on the course.
