Springmaid Trail Race

Springmaid Trail Race takes place on November 7, 2026 at Anne Springs Close Greenway, Lake Haigler Entrance, 2573 Lake Haigler Drive, Fort Mill, SC. The event is dedicated to the Mary Warner Mack Dog Park and is held on single-track trails within the Greenway.

The event offers multiple distance options:

• 5K and Dog Jog
• 5K Hike Challenge
• 10K
• Half Marathon

Awards are presented for overall and age-group finishers. Top three overall male and female finishers are recognized in the 10K and half marathon. In the 5K the top three overall male and female finishers and top dogs receive awards. Age groups are 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Half marathon finishers receive finisher medals.

Registration opens March 1. Day-of registration and day-of packet pickup are available. Early packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 4pm to 6pm at the Greenway Gateway at the Lake Haigler Entrance; participants are asked to pull up in front of the gateway and remain in their car. Race registration is non-refundable unless a refund protection plan was purchased. Transfers more than two weeks before the event may be allowed to another competitor or to another Greenway race of equal or lesser value at the discretion of the Race Director. Events run rain or shine unless canceled for severe weather. Volunteers are needed for race day positions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
