Event Overview
The Springmaid Trail Race is an annual autumn running event held at the Anne Springs Close Greenway. Located at the Lake Haigler Entrance in Fort Mill, South Carolina, the race takes participants through the natural landscapes of the greenway. The event is dedicated to the Mary Warner Mack Dog Park and encourages the participation of the entire family, including dogs.
Distance Options
Participants can choose from several different course lengths:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K and Dog Jog
- 5K Hike Challenge
Participant Information
The event offers age group awards for runners ranging from 19 and under to 70 and over. Top finishers in the overall male, female, and dog categories for the 5K receive recognition, as do the top three overall male and female finishers in the 10K and Half Marathon. All Half Marathon participants receive finisher medals upon completing the course.
Registrants have the option to include a refund protection plan during the registration process to cover various unforeseen circumstances. Early packet pickup is typically available the day before the event at the Greenway Gateway. While Greenway members receive complimentary parking, standard daily admission fees apply to non-members.
