The Springmaid Trail Race takes place at the Anne Springs Close Greenway, featuring a variety of distances on single-track trails. Located at the Lake Haigler entrance in Fort Mill, South Carolina, this event offers participants the opportunity to run through natural landscapes in autumnal morning conditions. The race is dedicated to the Mary Warner Mack Dog Park.

The 5k Dog Jog is a specific category where the top overall canine finishers receive medals. For those not looking to run, the 5k Hike Challenge provides a non-competitive alternative. A cut-off time is implemented for the Half Marathon distance to ensure the event concludes by early afternoon.
Early packet pick-up is scheduled for the day before the race at the Greenway Gateway, with a drive-through system in place. Registration is also available on the day of the event. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon, as well as to winners in age groups ranging from 19 and under to 70 and over.
