Rudolph's Revenge: A Christmas in July Night Run

Rudolph's Revenge is a night 5K held on July 18, 2026 at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, SC. The course uses elements of the school's cross country layout, is run primarily on grass, and includes a short section on the track each loop. The race will be lit with glow sticks and Christmas lights, and Christmas costumes are encouraged.

The event is a fundraiser to benefit the Northwestern Cross Country Team. The 5K is chip timed and results will be posted on RunSignUp after the race. There will be a water station on the course just past the halfway point.

Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers. Age group awards are planned for the top finisher in these categories: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 to 99. If registration numbers allow, age group awards may be extended to place deeper; overall top three finishers are not eligible for age group awards.

T-shirts will be provided to runners who register by July 5; later registrants may receive shirts while supplies last. Early packet pickup is scheduled at the Charlotte Running Company in Riverwalk on Friday July 17. Race day packet pickup and late registration will be available until 8:00pm. Registration opens November 18, 2025 and closes June 1, 2026 with a fee of $25 for the 5K. Merchandise vendors and a food truck are expected at the venue.
