The OMR Ultra 24 Hour Challenge is a timed 24 hour event held at Mint Hill Park on Wilgrove in Mint Hill, NC (7750 Jim Harper Ln). The event offers individual solo entries and team relays with teams of 2 to 12 runners.
The course is a loop of approximately 1.35 mile with mixed surfaces: crushed gravel, wooded singletrack, grassy trail, and a short paved section near the parking lot. The route will be marked with flagging tape and signage, and all course markings will appear on the runner's right-hand side. Each lap begins and ends at the same location with direct access to aid and crew areas.
An aid station will be located at the start/finish area and will provide water, electrolytes, broth, gels, snacks, sandwiches, and rotating hot food overnight and through the following day. Bathrooms are located close to the aid station. Participants may use tents or vehicles near the course for rest and supplies, and ample parking is planned. Propane grills and open flames are not permitted except in stationary charcoal grills fixed in park shelter areas.
Timing chips on bibs record laps automatically. Live runner tracking is listed as TBD.
