Moccasin Ultra Fest

Moccasin Ultra Fest is a 36 hour timed trail event held on the Wolf River Trails in Memphis, TN at the Wolf River Refuge Trailhead on S. Walnut Bend Rd. The course is a fast, flat loop of four miles that racers repeat as many times as they choose within the 36 hour time limit.

The event returns runners to a central Start/Finish area each loop where a single fully manned aid station is located. The aid station is set up as a help yourself station with food, soups, coffee, warm items, heaters, chairs, and blankets. Professional photography is provided and photos are free for runners to download.

Awards and recognition are given by completed distance:

• 4 mile loop finisher medal
• 52+ mile buckle at 13 loops
• 100 mile buckle at 25 loops
• Exclusive sub 24 hour 100 mile buckle

Additional details: no pacers allowed, trekking poles permitted, headphones allowed with awareness of other runners, no littering, and runners are responsible for their crew. Official mileage is the last completed loop recorded when the 36 hour limit ends. Every registered runner receives a Bella Canvas fleece hoodie. Registrations are non refundable and non transferable; a deferred race credit policy applies based on timing. Late December weather in Memphis can vary; warm clothing is recommended.
