Moccasin Ultra Fest - 36 hour timed trail run
Moccasin Ultra Fest is a 36 hour timed trail event held December 31 to January 1, 2027 at the Wolf River Refuge Trailhead, S. Walnut Bend Rd., Memphis, TN. The course is a fast, flat 4 mile loop on the Wolf River Trails that returns runners to the start/finish area each lap.
The event records the last fully completed loop at the 36 hour cutoff as official mileage. One fully manned aid station will be available at the start/finish with self serve food and drinks, warm shelter, heaters, chairs, and blankets. Runners must provide any special dietary or hydration items they require.
Awards and items distributed based on distance include:
- 1 Loop (4 miles): Finisher medal
- 13 Loops (52 miles): 52+ mile buckle
- 25 Loops (100 miles): 100 mile buckle
- Sub 24 hour 100 miles: Sub 24 hour 100 mile buckle
Additional event details: top male and top female by distance each receive $500 cash. All entrants receive a Bella Canvas fleece style hoodie. Professional photos will be taken during the race and provided free to runners.
