Moab Run the Rocks
Moab Run the Rocks is a three-day trail running stage race in Moab, Utah, held in March 2027 and organized by TransRockies. The event takes place on singletrack terrain across multiple stages.
Runners choose between two stage race lengths. Distances and total elevation are listed below:
- Full Pint: 53.6 miles (85.6 km), 4,480 ft (1,356 m) vertical gain
- Half Pint: 33.1 miles (53.1 km), 2,670 ft (811 m) vertical gain
The event is contested over three stages named Navajo Rocks, Gemini Bridges, and Bar M. The race format spans three consecutive days, with each length made up of one stage per day.
Registration is limited to 700 runners and registration closes on March 1, 2027. Pricing is tiered for the 2027 edition: Early Bird July 8 to July 29 at $499 USD plus taxes and fees; Tier 2 July 30 to August 31 at $599 USD plus taxes and fees; Tier 3 September 1 to race day at $699 USD plus taxes and fees.
An installment option is available with a deposit of $199 USD required at registration. The remaining balance is scheduled to be charged on November 1, 2026.
