Packet pickup is on event morning at Red Cliffs Lodge in the Colorado Room; participants collect their bibs there and take a shuttle to the start line. Parking is free at Red Cliffs Lodge; there is no parking at the start/finish area and shuttles return runners to the lodge after the run.

The event provides event shirts and finisher mugs. The event is cupless; participants should bring a handheld bottle or hydration pack. Aid stations are provided (half marathon: two full aid stations and one water drop; 10K: one full aid station). Podium prizes are awarded to the top three female and top three male finishers on each course.

Weekend activities are centered at Red Cliffs Lodge and include community events, a post-run Grit Down / Burger Bash with food and beverage offerings, live music, and a meet and greet. Cancer survivors who sign up receive a complimentary yellow bandana at packet pickup while supplies last.
