Moab Trailfest
The Moab Trailfest is a multi-day trail running event located in Moab, Utah. Organized by Vacation Races, the festival takes place over three days and features three distinct trail races through the American Southwest landscape. The event includes accommodation options such as camping and glamping at the festival headquarters, with an Expo held at the Old Spanish Arena.
Participants can choose from courses that highlight the natural sandstone formations and landmarks of the region. The festival provides daily meals, post-race refueling, and social activities including yoga clinics, live music, and motivational speakers. Registrants receive a race shirt and three finisher medals.
The event offers several route options:
- Pritchett Arch (13.5 miles) featuring orange sandstone arches and views of the Colorado River with 2,119 ft elevation gain.
- Gemini Bridge (16.75 miles) traversing sandy trails and desert shrubbery to reach views of twin sandstone bridges.
- Porcupine Rim (14.6 miles) offering vistas of Castle Valley, craggy cliff faces, and the Colorado River.
The registration fee includes chip timing, aid stations equipped with hydration and basic first aid, gear check services, and shuttle transportation to and from the start and finish lines.
