Marsh Madness 10K

The Marsh Madness 10K is held at Howard Marsh Metropark in Curtice, Ohio on June 20, 2026. The course runs on gravel trails along the marsh dikes and is flat. The park encompasses large marsh areas with unique plants, many bird species, and other wildlife.

After the event, participants may launch kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards to explore about eight miles of aquatic trails. Rental kayaks are available from the Metroparks. The race will not use paper cups; runners may carry a handheld water bottle, wear a hydration vest, or use a reusable collapsible cup. A water station is located on course twice at approximately 3.3 and 5.7 miles. Free collapsible cups are provided at packet pick-up.

Awards in the 10K will be given to Male and Female Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Grand Masters. Awards consist of a marsh-themed sun catcher and a gift card from Second Sole. All finishers receive a finisher medal and an additional giveaway. There are no age group awards.

Early packet pick-up is at Second Sole in Levi’s Commons, Perrysburg, on Thursday June 18 (2:00–8:00 pm) and Friday June 19 (10:00 am–6:00 pm). The event is the first race in the Toledo Roadrunners - Metroparks Toledo Trail Race Series. Proceeds support SewHope, a Toledo not-for-profit.
