The Gauntlet Run
The Gauntlet Run is a timed running event held in Williams Park, Gibsonburg, Ohio. Participants have 100 minutes to run, walk, or jog repeatedly around a looped course that measures 0.9 mile per lap. Laps are recorded by volunteers at the checkpoint located at the Williams Park Shelterhouse.
Aid stations offering water and Gatorade are placed along the course. Music will be present on course and there is a Tootsie Roll Station noted as part of the event. All participants receive a Finisher's Award; the male and female who cover the greatest distance during the 100 minutes receive special awards.
Post-run food and drink are provided at the Williams Park Shelterhouse. Entry for the event is $25, with all proceeds designated for a local foundation that provides quality running shoes to area middle school and high school athletes. Registration opens April 6, 2026 and closes July 12, 2026. Registrants by July 12 will receive a special "I Survived The Gauntlet" shirt.
