Black Swamp Mud Run

Black Swamp Mud Run is a 5k (3.1 miles) obstacle mud run held in Oak Harbor, Ohio at 7870 W State Rte 163 on 22 August 2026. The course includes more than 20 obstacles. Many obstacles offer two lines labeled "challenge" and "Xtreme" to provide distinct route options.

Registration has a listed fee of $40. Registration opens on 17 December 2025 and closes on 5 January 2026. Participants who register within the first four waves have the option to run the course a second time for an additional $5; runners who choose the second run receive a different wristband.

Each registrant receives an event T-shirt, a wristband, and a medal. Organizers will not award age group or gender placements, and no official race times will be given; however, overall times will be visible on race clocks at the event.

The event has multiple sponsors, including Ronald McDonald House Charities. Ten percent of event proceeds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
