5k on the Fairway - 2026

The 5k on the Fairway takes place on August 15, 2026, at Fallen Timbers Golf Course in Waterville, Ohio. This is the 12th running of the event and it uses the golf course fairways as part of a cross country style route.

The course covers both concrete and grass fairways and follows a winding route across the grounds of the course. Distances offered:

  • 5K run
  • 1 mile walk

Awards are presented in Overall and Masters (40+) divisions for male and female competitors, with awards to the top three in those divisions. Age group awards are determined based on entries received. The event will use a timing service.

Team packages are available for schools, families, and work groups. Registration details from the organizer include opening and closing dates and fees: the 5K registration opens March 9, 2026 and closes August 9, 2026 with a listed fee of $25.00; the 1 mile walk registration opens March 9, 2026 and closes August 15, 2026 with a listed fee of $20.00.

A fun, donut-themed race day at Toledo's Glass City Metropark. Choose from a Half-Marathon, 10K, 5K, or a family-friendly 1 Mile and Kid's Dash. All finishers get a shirt, medal, and a donut at the finish line.

A 5k mud run in Oak Harbor, Ohio on June 20, 2026 with 20+ obstacles and alternate challenge and Xtreme routes. Every participant receives a medal and the event will donate 10% of proceeds to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
