Black Swamp Dash

The Black Swamp Dash takes place on June 20, 2026 in Oak Harbor, Ohio at 7870 W State Rte 163. It is a 5k mud run that includes more than 20 obstacles along the course.

Many obstacles offer two route options labeled "challenge" and "Xtreme" so participants can choose alternative lines through parts of the course. The event uses multiple start waves and early-wave registrants have an option to run the course a second time for an additional fee, with a different wristband issued for the second run.

Every participant receives a "Return of the Black Swamp Mud Run" medal. Additional awards will be given to the top male and female performers in each designated age group. Competitive time slots are available for entrants who wish to be eligible for those awards, while non-competitive entrants can still view an overall completion time. Registration includes an event T-shirt, a wristband, and a medal.
