Black Swamp Dash
The Black Swamp Dash is a 5K mud run held on 06/20/2026 in Oak Harbor, Ohio at 7870 W State Rte 163. The course includes more than 20 obstacles, many of which offer a regular challenge side and an Xtreme side to provide alternate routes through the same obstacle.
Organizers offer both competitive and non-competitive time slots. Participants who select a competitive time slot are eligible for top male and top female awards in each designated age group. All participants receive a "Return of the Black Swamp Mud Run" medal. Registration includes an event T-shirt, a wristband, and a medal. Entries within the first four waves may add the option to run the course a second time for a $5 fee and will receive a different wristband if they choose that option.
The event plans additional elements such as giveaways and raffles and works with multiple sponsors, including Ronald McDonald House Charities.
