The Margam Trail Races take place on Saturday 15th November 2025 at Margam Country Park and Forest, with the event centre at the park east gate. The course uses forest paths and woodland trails and is fully marked with running arrows and flags. Provisional routes and GPS files are available for each distance.

Logistics and services

Registration and race bib collection are scheduled in staggered windows before each race. Car parking is at the east gate of Margam Park, opens at 07:15, and is included in the entry fee. Waterpoints/checkpoints are provided: three for the half marathon, two for the 10k, and one for the 5k.

Mandatory kit includes a bottle or reusable cup for checkpoint water, a phone with the race HQ number, appropriate headwear, and a waterproof top. Organizers advise carrying warm layers if weather is poor. Entry fees listed are: half marathon £38, 10k £34, 5k £30. Entry fees include car parking, a finishers medal, free race photographs, event safety and first aid cover, electronic timing, marked route and land permits, GPS files, and checkpoints.
