Mapledurham 10 Mile, 10K & Half Marathon

The event returns in 2026 for its 13th year at Mapledurham Estate, Reading, Berkshire. It offers three trail distances that run across estate roads and open land.

Courses follow a mix of muddy paths, woodland trails, private estate roads, fields and include some uphill and downhill sections. Bib collection is available on the day. A water station is provided on the course and spectators are welcome.

Finish provisions include complimentary mulled wine and mince pies with a vegan option. The event village typically features a local brewery, a massage specialist and a food van. Included with the registration fee are an epic medal, an iTAB engraved with name and finish time delivered after the event, free race photos, chip timing and ample toilets.

Volunteers are used to operate the event. Dogs are no longer permitted at this event due to requests from local landowners. Course record times are recorded for each distance; examples of listed record times include 10K 00:36:20 and 00:40:14, 10 Mile 00:56:31 and 01:05:23, Half Marathon 01:28:50 and 01:35:23. A Backyard Ultra on private wildlife trails at Chilton Manor Farm with fields, woodland and a high point at Bugmore Hill Trig Point offering views across the South Downs. The loop returns to an event camp with signage from nearby towns.

Bolt Round the Holt is a forest trail race at Alice Holt Forest on 26 April 2026 offering Half Marathon, 10k, 5k and a Junior Run while raising funds for GUTS to support bowel cancer detection and care.

Join NOT the London Marathon Run 2026 on Sunday 26 April in Walton on Thames for a flat, certified lap course along the riverside towpath. Choose marathon, half or a 7 hour timed challenge, enjoy flexible starts and a commemorative medal.

A spring, group-led trail run of around **10 km** through bluebell woods near Tring in the Chiltern Hills, with Run Leaders, trail-running tips, bag storage and nearby cafes. Dog friendly with cani-cross equipment.
