Phoenix Running Manchester is holding the "Friday Frenzy" timed running event on Friday 13 February 2026 at Hardy Farm, Brookburn Road, Manchester, M21 8FE. The event uses a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out-and-back lap along the River Mersey. Participants may complete as many laps as they wish within a 7-hour time limit. The minimum distance is 3.28 miles. Course and logistics

The surface is off-road trail on a riverside towpath. The overall course is flat with no elevation gain or loss. A fully stocked aid station is provided with items such as bananas, pretzels, jelly sweets, biscuits and cola; vegan and gluten-free options are available. Bibs and registration are handled on the day and a rock-up-and-run option is offered. Finishers receive a commemorative finishers' medal. Toilets and changing rooms are available at race headquarters. Parking for 75 cars is available at Hardy Farm on a first-come, first-served basis; additional public car parks at Sale Water Park are about a 15-minute walk away.
