MacTuffX Glasgow, 24 May 2026

MacTuffX Glasgow is a functional fitness racing event held at Crownpoint, Glasgow G40 2AL on 24 May 2026. The event combines running with a sequence of ten Xercises. All entrants must be aged 18 or over on the day of the event.

Participants can choose from several competition formats and distances:

  • Solo X: 10 x 400m, individual
  • Solo 2X: 10 x 800m, individual
  • Doubles X: 10 x 400m, per team
  • Doubles 2X: 10 x 800m, per team
  • Relay X: 10 x 400m, team of five
  • Relay XX: 10 x 800m, team of five

Entry fees vary by category. Examples of listed fees are Solo X at £70 and Solo 2X at £85. Team entries are priced per team, for example Doubles X £125 and Relay XX £170. The event enforces an age restriction of 18 years and above.

The programme features ten named Xercises alongside running, with set repetitions, carry distances and weight standards for different divisions. Examples of Xercises include Alternating Snatch, Kettlebell Deadlift, Zercher Carry, Burpee Broad Jump and Slamball movements. A LITE weight division is available so participants may compete with reduced weights while taking part alongside standard weight divisions.

Trail runs nearby

A guided trail run from Balmaha car park over Conic Hill and down the West Highland Way to Milton of Buchanan, about 8 to 10 km. Social group running with a qualified, first aid trained guide; no dogs or under 18s.

An evening trail running festival at Calderglen Country Park on 26 June 2026, with races from a toddler dash to a 10k, chip timing, marshalled courses and an after-race buffet. A donation is made from each 5k and 10k entry.

A guided 6 km social trail run from Milngavie Train Station exploring parts of the Clyde Coastal path and West Highland Way. Qualified guide, trail shoes mandatory, no dogs or under 18s, limited places and proceeds support a local charity.
