Course and practical information

The route runs south through the Chuckanut Mountains on singletrack that passes through old-growth evergreen forest, lake basins, and ridgelines. The course description notes a mix of runnable sections, forested descents, mellow climbs, and some technical stretches near lakes and ridgelines. On clear days there are views of Mount Baker, Bellingham Bay, and across into Canada. The finish at the Larrabee State Park Amphitheater includes a finish line area and post-race snacks.
