The Long Play Trail Run
The Long Play offers three trail distances that start and finish at the Ridge Manor Trailhead on the Withlacoochee State Trail in Brooksville, Florida. The main event is a 33 1/3 mile single-track, single-loop run through the Croom Tract of the Withlacoochee State Forest. All courses run along the Withlacoochee River corridor before entering less-traveled sections of the Croom Forest.

Aid station and safety details are provided for each distance. For the 33.3 mile course the aid stations are at mile markers 5.8 and 28.2 (AS1), 10.9 and 25.5 (AS2), and 18.4 (AS3); AS1 and AS3 accept drop bags. The half marathon has an aid station at mile markers 6.3 and 7.2. It is noted that the first aid stations occur after about six miles and that the final aid station is 5.8 miles from the finish. Participants in the 33.3 and the half marathon are advised to carry at least 2 liters of fluids; 6K participants are advised to carry at least 16 ounces.
Additional event features include handcrafted finisher medals, other awards, a post-race barbecue, and information about nearby campsites at Crooked River, Cypress Glenn, and Silver Lake campgrounds with differing pet policies and site types.
