The Hot August Night Trail Race is a nighttime trail running event held at Holder Mine Campground in Inverness, Florida, within the Citrus Tract of the Withlacoochee Forest. Participants can choose from 5-mile, 10-mile, or 20-mile distances, with the 20-mile race consisting of two 10-mile loops. The course features single-track trails with packed sand and pine needle surfaces, gentle elevation changes, and is marked with reflective pins and glow sticks.
