The Greenway Trick 'R Trot is a Halloween-themed trail race held on Saturday, October 24, 2026. It takes place at the Pruitt Trailhead on the Florida Greenway in Dunnellon, Florida.

Event Format

The race offers several trail running and rucking events:

  • 5k Run
  • 5k Ruck
  • 10k Run
  • 10k Ruck
  • 5k and 10k Challenge Run (running both distances consecutively)
  • 5k and 10k Challenge Ruck (rucking both distances consecutively)

A ruck division is available for all events. Bib pickup is available on race day at the Pruitt Trailhead.

Course and Requirements

The course goes through a canopy of live oaks and uses part of the Florida Trail. Costumes are encouraged for the Halloween atmosphere. Headlamps are required for the 10k and Challenge events.
