Lone Wolf 135 - Griffin, GA
Lone Wolf 135 is a self-supported trail event held on private property near a lake in Griffin, Georgia. The course is 135 miles run as ten loops of a 13.5 mile double-track trail, totaling more than 20,000 feet of vertical gain. The loop does not cross itself, has no intersections or repeats, and is well marked and ATV passable.
The event enforces a strict 48 hour cutoff and requires a prior 100 mile finish for entry. Aid is provided only at the main start/finish aid station each loop and at a water stop reached twice per loop, near miles 6 and 9. No outside help is allowed: no crew, no pacers, and no non-runners in the aid station or personal staging areas. Each runner receives a randomly assigned personal 4'x8' staging area near the main aid; only that runner and race officials may access it during the event.
Field size is limited to 25 runners for 2026. Poles are allowed. Runners may camp on site before the event and may stay after finishing. In serious emergencies race staff can provide assistance; carrying a phone is suggested but not required. The event spans the end of daylight savings time, so runners should monitor race time rather than local clock time. Registration closes Tue, Oct 27 at 11:59 PM ET. Finishers receive a buckle and trophies are awarded to the first male and female. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
