Lone Wolf 135
The Lone Wolf 135 is a self-supported ultramarathon held on private property in Griffin, Georgia. The event consists of a 135 mile course designed specifically for running, featuring an ATV-passable double track trail that centers around a lake. Participants complete ten loops of a 13.5 mile circuit. The course includes significant elevation changes, totaling more than 20,000 feet of vertical gain over the full distance.
The race follows a strict "lone wolf" format where no outside assistance is permitted. This means no crews, no pacers, and no aid from non-runners are allowed at any point. Participants are assigned a personal 4-foot by 8-foot staging area on grass near the start/finish line. Runners must load this area with their own supplies before the event begins, as returning to a vehicle for gear or food during the race is prohibited.

A strict 48-hour cutoff is enforced for the event. To ensure participant safety and preparedness for the terrain, registration requires proof of at least one previous 100 mile race finish. Support is provided through one full aid station at the start/finish of each loop and a water station accessible twice per loop at the 6 and 9-mile marks.
Finishers receive a buckle, and trophies are awarded to the first male and female finishers. Registration for the 2026 edition is limited to 25 participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
