Little Loggers Trail Fest
North Bend, United States • 21 Jun 2026
Event Overview
The Little Loggers Trail Fest is an event organized by the PA Trail Dogs. It is focused on children aged 12 and under, aiming to introduce them to trail running outdoors. Registration for the event is free but required, with a capacity limit of 300 participants.
Course Details
The course is approximately 2.75 miles long and takes place on trails. It features some small hills and may include one small stream crossing, which could result in wet feet. The route will be marked with flags, and volunteers will be stationed along the way, likely within sight of each other. There will be one aid station with EMS personnel located at the halfway point.
Participation and Rules
Parents or guardians are allowed to run alongside their children if needed but should not register for the event themselves. If a parent cannot run, a volunteer "pacer" can be provided to accompany the child. Results will only be recorded for the children.
Post-Race Activities
After the race, there will be a lunch for the kids, which may include items like hot dogs, pizza, and drinks. Other activities are also planned. Participants are invited to bring a dessert to share in a disposable serving dish.
Series Information
This event is the first of three races in the Rocksylvania Kids Trail Series. The other events are the Kanyon Kids Trail Race in August and the Smallfoot Trail Fest in September. To earn a series finisher's award, a child must be pre-registered for and complete all three races. Registration for all series events is free for children aged 12 and under.
