Little Loggers Trail Fest
The Little Loggers Trail Fest is a youth trail running event held in North Bend, PA at 161 Sportsmans Lane. It is organized by the PA Trail Dogs and is aimed at children ages 12 and under. Entry for kids is free and the event has a hard cap of 300 participants. Registration for 2026 is sold out.
The kids course is about 2.75 miles long and includes a few small hills. Depending on rainfall there may be a small stream crossing; organizers note this could result in wet feet but not dangerous conditions. The course will be flagged and have volunteers spaced along the route, with most volunteers within sight of one another. One aid station with EMS coverage is located at the halfway point so no participant will be unattended on course.
Parents or guardians may run alongside their child but should not register as adult entrants. Organizers can provide a pacer if a parent cannot accompany a child. After the run there will be a lunch for participants, with items such as hot dogs, pizza, and drinks; shared desserts should be brought in disposable serving dishes.
The event is part of the Rocksylvania Kids Trail Series. Participants who pre-register and complete all three series races are eligible for a series finisher award. The PA Trail Dogs also offer free entry into the Little Pine 5 Miler in October at Little Pine State Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
