Little Loggers Trail Fest
Little Loggers Trail Fest is a children’s trail running event held at 161 Sportsmans Lane in North Bend, PA. The event is organized for kids ages 12 and under and is offered free of charge. For 2026 registration is sold out. When registration opened, entry was free, a signed waiver by a parent or guardian was required, and the field was capped at 300 children with no waitlist.
The course is described as about 2.75 miles long with a few small hills and a possible small stream crossing depending on rain. The organizer notes that wet feet could occur in that case but that it would not be dangerous; a volunteer will be present at the crossing if it occurs. The course will be flagged and staffed by volunteers, most likely within sight of one another, and there will be one aid station with EMS at the halfway point so no participant will be alone on course.
Parents or guardians may run alongside their child but should not register as adult entrants; a pacer can be provided if a parent cannot run. The event includes a post race lunch for the children, most likely hot dogs, pizza, and drinks, and participants may receive free entry into the Little Pine 5 Miler in October. The festival is part of the Rocksylvania Kids Trail Series, which requires pre-registration and completion of all three series races to earn a series finisher award.
