Little Loggers Trail Fest
The Little Loggers Trail Fest is a children’s trail running event in North Bend, PA organized by the PA Trail Dogs for kids ages 12 and under. Registration for 2026 is listed as sold out. The event is offered free of charge to registered children and has a hard cap of 300 participants; a parent or guardian must sign the required waiver.
The kids course is about 2.75 miles long and includes a few small hills. Depending on rainfall there may be one small stream crossing; organizers note this could result in wet feet but not dangerous conditions. The route is flagged and will have volunteers positioned along it, usually within sight of one another. There will be one aid station at the halfway point with EMS present so no child is expected to be alone on the course.
Parents and guardians may run with their child if needed but should not register as an adult participant; event results are recorded only for the children. A pacer can be provided if a parent cannot run with a child.
After the race there will be a lunch for the children, likely including hot dogs, pizza, and drinks; shared desserts should be brought in disposable serving dishes.
