LESS Society Table Rock Run
The LESS Society presents its third annual Table Rock Run, a community event held on trails near Boise, Idaho. The event supports the LESS Society Idaho Scholarship Initiative and promotes the organization's mission of Technology, Investing, Education, and Research by linking innovation with community wellness.
The primary course follows Table Rock Trail #15, an approximately 3.8 miles round trip with about 900 feet of elevation gain. Participants start at the Table Rock Trailhead, climb to the summit that overlooks downtown Boise and the Treasure Valley, and return to the base. The course is described as moderate in difficulty, fully marked, and staffed by volunteers for safety and support.
If conditions are muddy or unsafe, the route may move to the Old Penitentiary Loop Trail #17 and the Shoshone-Bannock Trail #20, keeping a similar distance while protecting sensitive terrain.
Aid stations are located at the trailhead, midpoint, and summit and provide water, electrolyte drinks, light snacks, and first aid. Restrooms are available at the trailhead. A certified medical responder will be on site and volunteers along the course will carry radios. After the event, volunteers lead post race cleanup and trail restoration to reduce environmental impact.
Participants are asked to stay on marked routes, yield to uphill trail users, respect wildlife and natural surroundings, and carry out their trash and personal items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
