3rd Annual LESS Society Table Rock Run

The 3rd Annual LESS Society Table Rock Run is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Boise, Idaho. The event supports the LESS Society Idaho Scholarship Initiative and advances the LESS Society's mission of Technology, Investing, Education, and Research (TIER) by linking innovation with community wellness and education.

The primary course uses the Table Rock Trail (route number 15). The route is a 3.8 mile round trip with approximately 900 feet of elevation gain. Runners start at the Table Rock Trailhead, ascend to the summit overlooking downtown Boise and the Treasure Valley, and return to the base. The course is described as moderate in difficulty, fully marked, and staffed by volunteers.

If trail conditions are unsafe, the route will move to the Old Penitentiary Loop Trail (route number 17) and the Shoshone-Bannock Trail (route number 20) while keeping a similar distance and protecting sensitive terrain.

Event support includes aid stations at the trailhead, midpoint, and summit offering water, electrolyte drinks, light snacks, and first aid. Restrooms are available at the trailhead. Safety measures include an on-site certified medical responder and radio equipped volunteers. Post-event cleanup and trail restoration are organized by volunteers to reduce impact on the trails.

Participants are asked to stay on marked routes, follow volunteer directions, yield to uphill hikers and other trail users, respect wildlife, and carry out all trash and personal belongings. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
