The Leadville Trail 100 Run Camp is a three-day training program held June 19-21, 2026. Open to all runners, the camp covers sections of the Leadville Trail 100 Run course with guided group runs and discussion sessions designed to introduce the race and its terrain. General registration is sold out.
Training includes both day and night group runs and guided discussions about pacing, gear, fueling, and other race topics. The weekend uses shuttles to access start points and provides on-course-style lunches and recap sessions each day.
Distances covered during the camp:
- Day 1 night run: 12.7 miles, 948′ elevation gain, high point 10,144
- Day 2 run: 25.4 miles, 3,146′ elevation gain, high point 11,135
- Day 3 run: 11.2 miles, 4,385′ elevation gain, high point 12,537
The camp operates on San Isabel National Forest and other public lands under special permits. Guides include multiple past finishers of the Leadville Trail 100 Run. Minimum age is 17 for camp participation; race day age requirement is 18. Registration options listed for 2026 included a Camp + Entry Package and a Camp Only package, with published prices of $2,000 and $1,000 respectively.
