Leadville Trail 100 Run Camp
The Leadville Trail 100 Run Camp takes place over three days from June 19-21, 2026. It is an introduction to the Leadville Trail 100 Run course. The camp features guided group training runs, both day and night, on key sections of the ultra-run route.
A detailed schedule is provided for the weekend. Activities begin with check-in, sponsor mingling, and gear demonstrations. The programming includes talks and Q&A sessions with experienced runners and guides on topics like race strategy, pacing, nutrition, and gear. Night runs and long daytime runs are scheduled, with provided shuttle transportation to and from course sections. Meals, including burritos, lunches, and BBQ, are part of the camp.
Campers receive a running kit and gear. On-course nutrition for training includes products from Neversecond (energy gels and sports drink) and Skratch Labs (hydration mix, energy bars, and chews). A detailed packing list is suggested, including multiple pairs of shoes, specific clothing layers, a headlamp, and trekking poles.
The camp is open to all runners aged 17 and over. A Camp + Entry Package (which includes race entry) and a Camp Only Package are offered. The event operates under a special use permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management and the San Isabel National Forest. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
