The course starts at Meopham in the North Downs, climbs the Greensand Ridge into the Weald, crosses into Sussex to explore the Ashdown Forest, then returns through the Weald and the Greensand Ridge to the North Downs. The route visits places linked to Winnie the Pooh, including Pooh Sticks Bridge, The Enchanted Place, the 100 Acre Wood and Eeyore's Gloomy Place.
The route uses sections of several long-distance paths, including the Wealdway, Greensand Way, Sussex Diamond Way, Sussex Border Path, High Weald Landscape Trail, Tandridge Border Path, Eden Valley Walk, Darent Valley Path and North Downs Way. Around 500 people are expected to start the event on 23 May; the fastest competitors may finish in under 24 hours and the slowest within the 48-hour limit.
