Lavenham 10K Race : Overview

The event is a 10k trail race scheduled for Sunday 1 February 2026 in Lavenham. Entry fee is £24. The race is manually timed and all finishers receive a medal. First aid will be available on site. Minimum age for entry is 16 years and there is a 90-minute cut-off time. Podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. Course, location and conditions

The route follows mixed terrain, including the old disused railway line, footpaths, forest trails, shallow streams and quiet rural roads. Organisers note there may be splashy sections in winter conditions and advise participants to use grippy footwear. The race base is Lavenham Village Hall, Church St, Lavenham, Sudbury, CO10 9QT. A large public car park is available; vehicles are left at owners' risk and organisers accept no responsibility for loss or damage. Participants enter at their own risk, must be medically fit to take part, and consent to the use of photos and video footage on the organiser’s and sponsor websites and in promotional materials.
