Lavenham 10K Race

The Lavenham 10K Race is a trail event held on Sunday 1st February 2026 in Lavenham, Sudbury (Lavenham Village Hall, Church St, CO10 9QT). The race follows an old disused railway line and a varied multi-terrain route that includes footpaths, forest trails, shallow streams and quiet rural roads.

The distance is 10 km. Timing is manual. All finishers receive a finisher medal and podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. First aid and medical assistance are available during the event.

Entry fee is £24. Minimum age to enter is 16 years and a 90-minute cut-off time applies. The event is cupless: fresh drinking water will be available for refilling personal bottles and no single-use cups will be provided. Race numbers are not sent out in advance and must be collected at the event.

A large public car park is available nearby; vehicles are parked at owners own risk. Competitors enter and participate at their own risk and must ensure they are medically fit to take part. Grippy footwear is recommended due to the varied and potentially slippery terrain. By entering, participants consent to the use of photos and video footage from the event. The event operates under Race Permit 6988. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
