The Lara Fun Run / Walk takes place on November 30, 2025 at Serendip Sanctuary, Windermere Road, Lara. The start and finish are within the grounds of Pirra Mansion. The event has a field limit of 1,000 participants and includes separate races for adults and children.

The 5 km course is a flat, one-lap route. The 10 km event is two laps of the same course. The route passes through Serendip Sanctuary and runs among native wildlife, including kangaroos, emus, koalas and native birds. Drink stations are located at about 2.5 km, 5 km, 7.5 km and at the finish line.

All finishers receive a medal. Participants also receive a personalised online finisher certificate with name, official time, pace and place. The Kids Dash finishers receive a medal and a hard copy certificate. Trophies are awarded to overall winners in the 10 km and 5 km events. Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded to first, second and third placegetters in each age category. Age groups are 7-12 years (5 km only), 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.

Race bibs can be personalised if registered before October 19. A postage option for bibs is offered for a fee of $7.50; postage is not available for some late registrations.
