Afterglow Night Run 2026

Afterglow Night Run 2026 is a twilight into night trail event based at 47 The Esplanade, Torquay VIC. The route follows the Surf Coast Walk from Point Addis past Bells Beach to Torquay and combines trail running with a neon themed atmosphere featuring glow effects, retro DJ tunes, wigs and themed fashion.

Participants choose from multiple distances:

  • 5km Day-Glow
  • 5km Night-Glow
  • 13km Semi Glow
  • 21km Full Glow

Registration fees vary by distance and by registration period, with several pricing tiers listed for early and late entries. Some registration options are listed as including bus transport. The event supports fundraising and awareness for the Sexual Assault and Family Violence Centre in Geelong and takes part in Respect Victoria's 16 Days of Activism. Organisers will donate A$5 for every participant who gets their fingernails painted at bib pickup, and participants may also fundraise via the SAFV MyCause page or make a donation during entry.

The event description highlights a festive, celebratory vibe alongside the trail running element and notes a focus on fundraising for frontline services and prevention programs addressing gender based and family violence. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
