Afterglow Night Trail Run
The Afterglow Night Trail Run is an evening sports event located on the Surf Coast within Wadawurrung Country. The event focuses on trail running through singletrack paths and coastal scenery as the sun sets and night falls. Participants are encouraged to incorporate bright colors and themed attire into their run.
The event offers several distances to accommodate different preferences:
- 21 km Maxi Glow
- 13 km Semi Glow
- 5 km Mini Glow or Day Glow
The event also serves as a platform for charitable fundraising. Participants have the option to support the Sexual Assault & Family Violence (SAFV) Centre in Geelong. Funds raised through these efforts contribute to frontline intervention services and preventative programs across Western Victoria. This initiative is associated with the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence.
